Vodafone Summer Program 2009

The 2009 Summer Training program!

Hello All,
In line with the company strategic objectives for developing people & community, Vodafone Egypt intends to invest in people by providing them with the best and most appropriate career & future development program.
Summer training is a program targeting potential university students for developing their skills & enhancing their practical experiences, as well as spotting considerable talents and attracting them as potential future employees. In addition, it aims to reinforce Vodafone image in the Egyptian society as an employer of choice and a role model of doing business in Egypt.
A. Program ScopeVodafone Egypt hosts talented & potential university students all over different Vodafone Campuses & stores for duration of two month, where they get to have hands on experience & get exposed to the organization�s behaviours & gain practical experience.
This program is only available for students who are currently enrolled in universities, provided that they are not in their final year;as final year students are treated as fresh graduate.
Each trainee will receive a structured feedback & a development plan from his/her mentor measured against our Performance Drivers & their objectives.
B. Program Rounds
The program is conducted once a year, during the summer time (July - Aug).
C. Procedures of Application
� Applicants apply online.�
� Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
� Applicants go through two filtering stages:
�1. The first stage includes written tests to assess their language skills, reasoning& critical thinking abilities.
2. The second stage includes the Interviewing process.
� Successful candidates are then assigned to departments and contacted for notification with the assignment and starting date.
�D. Certification and RewardsEach student upon successful completion of the Summer Training program gets a certificate with his/her evaluation & the function in which he/she acquired his/her training at. In addition, he/she receives a payment corresponding to the number of days that he/she has spent in his/her practical training within Vodafone
