Cisco Intern

Cisco is a large organization with varying business requirements. We are constantly looking for new talent, and offering internships is a great way for us to meet and interact with students who are interested in our business.

We offer flexible internship options that can start throughout the year. Because everyone has different motivation and availability, we work with candidates to determine the location and duration of each internship.

Locations for internships include Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Departments open to interns include sales, engineering, finance, human resources, business operations, and marketing. Read the job descriptions for the full-time roles in these areas to learn more about the required skills and likely responsibilities.

The internship duration varies from three months during the school summer break to 12 or 18 months immediately after graduation or during your final years of study. Some countries also have part-time opportunities.

When you apply to Cisco for an internship, include the following information:

  • What you would like to do
  • Where your skills and interests are strongest
  • Which country or cities you would like to work in (Cisco does not sponsor interns for work visas)
  • How long you would like your internship to be
  • When you will be available

We will then determine whether or not we have an opportunity for you.
